Shipping Policy (For Commercial Container & Air Cargo Orders)

Last updated: 01.01.2022

This Shipping Policy outlines how Yiwu Mengte Trading LTD (“we”, “us”, “our”) manages shipping for bulk textile orders delivered via sea containers (FCL/LCL) and air freight cargo. We specialize in B2B shipments and do not offer small-parcel delivery.

1. Order Processing & Production Schedule

  • All shipments are arranged after full payment confirmation or according to agreed contract terms.

  • Standard processing time is 3–10 business days, depending on product availability, customization, and production queue.

  • For customized fabrics or special finishes, additional production time will be communicated before order confirmation.

2. Shipping Methods

We provide two primary shipping options for large orders:

a) Sea Freight (FCL/LCL)

  • Full Container Load (FCL): 20ft, 40ft, 40HQ

  • Less than Container Load (LCL): for mixed or smaller-volume shipments
Sea freight is recommended for bulk orders due to lower transportation costs per unit.

b) Air Freight (Commercial Cargo)

  • Suitable for urgent shipments or smaller high-value loads

  • Shipped through major air cargo carriers and freight forwarders

Customers may choose their preferred method or request recommendations based on cost and transit time.

3. Freight Charges

  • Freight costs are calculated based on volume (CBM), weight, destination port/airport, and shipping method.

  • A detailed freight quotation is provided before invoice confirmation.

  • For long-term partners, we offer competitive freight agreements through our logistics providers.

4. Delivery Timeframes

Estimated transit times vary by shipping mode and destination:

Sea Freight

  • Asia: 7–20 days

  • Middle East: 15–30 days

  • Europe: 25–45 days

  • North & South America: 25–55 days

  • Africa: 25–50 days

Air Freight

  • 4–12 business days depending on route and customs processing

Note: Actual delivery times may vary due to customs clearance, port congestion, weather conditions, or carrier delays.

5. Export Documentation

We provide all standard export documents required for international shipments, including:

  • Commercial Invoice

  • Packing List

  • Bill of Lading (B/L) for sea freight or Air Waybill (AWB) for air cargo

  • Certificate of Origin (if required)

  • Any other documents requested by the buyer (additional fees may apply)

6. Container Loading & Packing Standards

To ensure product safety during transit:

  • Fabrics are packed in rolls or bales per customer specifications

  • Palletizing available on request

  • Reinforced packaging used to protect goods from moisture and deformation

  • Container loading images or videos can be provided upon request

7. Inspection & Quality Verification

Prior to shipment:

  • Goods undergo internal quality checks

  • Third-party inspections (e.g., SGS, Intertek, BV) can be arranged upon customer request at additional cost

8. Customs, Duties & Local Regulations

  • Import duties, taxes, and destination country customs procedures are the responsibility of the buyer.

  • We assist with providing necessary paperwork but cannot influence customs processing times.

9. Damage, Loss, or Cargo Insurance

  • All containers and air shipments travel at the buyer’s risk unless cargo insurance is purchased.

  • Insurance can be arranged upon request prior to shipment.

  • In case of damage or loss, we assist in filing claims with the insurance provider or carrier.

10. Incorrect Shipping Information

Buyers must ensure that all consignee details, port information, and contact details are accurate.
We are not responsible for delays or costs resulting from incorrect or incomplete information provided by the buyer.
